The prices will be at a tolerable level in the month of Ramadan, she hoped.

Sheikh Hasina was responding to a question of Jatiya Party lawmaker Fakhrul Iman in the parliament on Wednesday. 

The premier also highlighted various initiatives of the government over price control of essentials.

The question-answer session was held in the parliament with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
